After trying multiple options, here my Top 2 recommendations:

1.Vanerepok Brand (first option listed)

• Pros:

  • Ruler engraved on the wood, easy to know the thickness of your slices.

  • Wood is thick and sturdy

  • Glossy finish - depends on personal preference

• Cons:

  • Handle is very squeaky, difficult to access screw to tighten

  • No tools included in case of loosening overtime

  • Suction cups are small and after long period of use, dust and crumbs decrease their power

  • Brand name engraved on the side (ruins the aesthetic in my opinion)

2.CAWIU Brand (second options listed)

• Pros:

  • Smooth slicing

  • No squeaking of handle

  • Large suction cups and have tab to lift for easy removal from counter

  • Tools included for tightening loosened parts over time

  • No branding engraved

  • Affordable: company usually has coupon you can apply at checkout, most likely can get cheaper than listed price!

  • Matte finish - depends on personal preference

  • Wood platform is thinner, but still very sturdy

• Cons:

  • No ruler engraved on the wood, unable to know the thickness of your slices

  • Doesn’t come ready to use: need to tighten adjustable guide (only takes 30 seconds)
